About us
Why we built Bangkok Baddies
We built Bangkok Baddies because the girls need more platforms to show their talents, and to support each other's creative endeavours.
Empowerment. Support. That's what it means to be a Bangkok Baddie.
Every night is dressed by Radio Rave, our label and clothing line. Why wouldn't we put Radio Rave on our friends? The DJs, performers and creators on our lineups wear it on the decks and on the dance floor.
Bangkok Baddies is founded and hosted by Wilai, a Thai-Swiss artist based between Bangkok and New York. Her music moves between electronic dance, R&B, pop rap and Morlam hip hop, the northeastern Thai folk sound she flips into club records.
Her hero single "Salawan" fuses traditional Thai Salawan and Dia Long with modern production by Brownzer. Other releases include the UGH! GO FAST EP, "Superstar" (feat. Lazy Loxy), "Never Dry" (feat. FIIXD), the Songkran anthem "Piak" (feat. Khan Thaitanium) and "International Mami" (feat. Twopee).
